Q: Can businesses which are not a tenant of Commercial Property Management provide their advertising and marketing material for the CPM Marketing Tent?

A: This is a service that is offered exclusively to our tenants as a benefit of leasing space from The Villages.

Q: Can I pay my rent electronically?

A: There is a new optional payment method to process rent for your location in The Villages. Have your rent payment processed through ACH (Automated Clearing House) with your bank on the 1st of the month and save a stamp. Please contact your respective Property Manager for details regarding your specific location.

Q: Can I change my hours for: the holidays, the summer or can I close early?

A: Although this seems like a simple request, looking at it on a much larger scale, it is difficult for the landlord to make this decision on a case by case basis. Altering your hours from what is stated in your lease agreement not only brings inconsistency to your business, but is also unfair to the tenants whom have chosen to stay open and hurts each center as a whole. In order to preserve the integrity of each center, these requests simply cannot be approved.

Q: What maintenance items am I responsible for in my space?

A: These items may vary depending on your lease agreement or location, referencing your lease and keeping it on site for your managers or providing a narrative of the tenant responsibilities for you and your on-site managers to refer to is a very useful tool. If there is still a question after reviewing your lease agreement, please contact your respective Property Manager.

Q: When is my rent considered late?

A: Annual rent shall be paid in equal monthly installments in advance on the first day of each and every month. Any payments received after this date, are considered late. Late fees will be applied as stated in your lease agreement.
